Sensivo offers free access to its clinical research data management platform to anyone working on Covid-19 related research
The Stockholm based Icelandic/Swedish startup Sensivo, will now offer free access to its clinical research data management platform to anyone working on Covid-19 related research.
“In light of the ongoing global challenge posed by Covid-19, we wanted to contribute to the efforts by researchers worldwide tackling this issue, by offering our tools to work efficiently with clinical research data from home.” says Stefan Stefansson, Sensivo CEO.
The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for clinical research. Many people are now recommended to work remotely to limit the spread of the disease. To facilitate remote work Sensivo invites all researchers working on Covid-19 related research to access its clinical data management platform for free.
“Due to privacy concerns, clinical research data are often not accessible from outside the hospital or university walls. This is hampering the possibilities of working remotely and to collaborate with external researchers. Collaboration is absolutely necessary to find treatments and vaccines for Covid-19” says Stefan. “With Sensivo you can collaborate with your research team wherever they are located. All you need is a browser and an internet connection”.
Sensivo is an Icelandic/Swedish startup company, originating from The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). It is a privacy-first clinical data management platform that enables researchers to securely access their data from anywhere in the world, and continue to collaborate even when they are working remotely.
