Exmon Software acquired by TimeXtender
The Icelandic Exmon Software was founded in 2014 as a subsidiary of the consulting company Expectus but was spun out a couple of years ago. The details of the deal were not made public.
Exmon is a data quality and data management solution, that customers use to find errors and anomalies in computer systems and daily processes, which can prevent loss of revenue or breakdowns in processes that might otherwise go unnoticed by managers.
According to a press release, the company has been expanding across Europe through a partner network that sells and implements the solution at companies in various industries.
Gunnar Steinn Magnússon, CEO of Exmon Software says that:
"The last few years have been spent promoting Exmon abroad, and we see great interest and success there. We have been working closely with TimeXtender recently, and the synergy for both our products and customers is great, so we decided to embark on this journey together. We see great opportunities in introducing the Exmon products to TimeXtender’s customer base of over 3000 customers, thereby expanding the market for Exmon. It is expected that core development of Exmon will continue in Iceland.
TimeXtender is a low-code holistic data integration solution that provides all the features needed to build an agile infrastructure for data and AI. The company claims that its solution automates manual tasks TimeXtender allows users to ingest, prepare, and deliver business-ready data faster than before.
"Integrating Exmon into our ecosystem is a deliberate move towards advancing the value we offer. Our augmented solution now incorporates an improved governance framework, making data management a more approachable task for our clients."
