Activity Stream announces an acquisition of two companies
Activity Stream, an Icelandic marketing platform for live entertainment, just announced its acquisition of Yesplan, an entertainment venue, and crowdEngage, a mobile and in-venue customer experience platform. These two companies share Activity Stream’s ambition to be at the forefront in solving key challenges the live entertainment sector faces as the world reopens after the pandemic. The goal is to redefine the sector’s ways of working. The final price of the acquisition is confidential, Activity Stream’s offer was a mixed offer of cash and stocks.
Activity Stream has already established itself as a big name in the entertainment business, being used by over 430 brands in 14 countries. Their solutions offer a data driven approach that increases profitability and visitor engagement by understanding fans’ behaviour and by targeting communications. The acquisition of the other two entertainment companies should further strengthen Activity Stream’s offerings to the live entertainment and experience sector. The should further increase Activity Stream’s growth which has been impressive recently. The marketing platform has grown by 250% since the beginning of 2021 according to the press release.
