500 Startups raising $15 MM to invest in the Nordics – Sean Percival to be contact person for IS startups
Startup accelerator 500 Startups, which recently started a pre-accelerator in Norway, recently announced that they’re raising a $15 MM fund to invest in seed rounds in startups from the Nordics.
According to the announcement, “500 [Startups] will bring Silicon Valley’s best practices to the region through our accelerator and growth marketing programs. Our main focus will be helping these companies internationalize faster and get access to venture capital and mentorship from Silicon Valley.”
Sean Percival, 500 Startup partner and former MySpace executive, will lead the initiative. He’s currently looking for venture partners in the Nordics biggest cities – Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. In regards to Iceland, founders and startups should contact him directly.
