AirServer creator App Dynamic signs deal with Intel

Intel has started a collaboration with Icelandic tech company App Dynamic, the creators of screen mirroring software AirServer. The app, which allows people with any device to mirror and share their screen on a display, will be prominently featured on Intel’s new meeting room tech: Intel Unite.

“Intel is very happy about the collaboration,” says Pratik Kumar, co-founder and CEO of App Dynamic. “They suggest that all users of Intel Unite download and use AirServer, and our aim is to make AirServer a core part of the Intel Unite user experience.”

Intel Unite is described as a “smart meeting room” by Intel, and Air Server will allow up to 9+ people to share their screen simultaneously, without any additional software or hardware. Unite sold 400.000 units last year and is expected to sell 800.000 this year. AirServer is a platform agnostic solution, that allows screen mirroring independent of screen sharing tech – be it Apple’s AirPlay, Google Cast or Miracast.

App Dynamic was founded in 2011 by husband and wife Pratik Kumar and Kristín Ósk Óskarsdóttir. The company topped the Deloitte Fast50 list in 2016.
