Lemonsqueeze opens in Iceland

Lemonsqueeze, a New York based service company that assists European startups with expanding to the US, is starting operations in Iceland. Oddur Sturluson, project manager at Icelandic Startups, will be a sourcing partner for Lemonsqueeze in Iceland, and represent the company in the Icelandic scene.

From the release:

The Danish-American company Lemonsqueeze has begun operations in Iceland, with Oddur Sturluson as sourcing partner. Oddur is also a project manager at Icelandic Startups, where he directs Startup Energy Reykjavik and the Innovation Noonevents.

In addition to Iceland, Lemonsqueeze has opened offices in Israel, Austria, the Netherlands, Polland, and soon will add Denmark to the list. The company has barely been able to keep up with demand, in part owing to increased international interest in Nordic startups and products. Europe’s startup scene has long been considered lacking compared to the USA’s but with this new service, European startups have a fast and easy way to confirm product-market fit in America.

Lemonsqueeze has worked with various companies, including Falcon, Joe and the Juice and Templafy, as well as Icelandic Sling, who rented a desk at their office space.
