Highlights from the Icelandic delegation at Slush 2017

This year, a delegation of nearly 100 people from representing startups, investors, media, diplomatic services, industry groups and more, is at Slush. The delegation was planned by Icelandic Startups and Promote Iceland, with participation from Slush and the Icelandic Embassy in Finland.

In addition to participating in regular conference events, the Promote Iceland is hosting a Team Iceland event to showcase some of what the delegation is doing.

Icelanders are also participating in various official conference events:

• Icelandic Meniga was chosen to showcase at the “Showcasing the Next Nordic Tech Superstars” event.
• Ólafur Bogason, founder of Genki Instruments, will be part of a panel on the future of instruments – “Future of Instruments – Are they Smart?”
• Davíð Helgason, founder of  Unity will have a talk called
  The Good, Bad and Ugly of Running a Startup with a Big Vision
• Salóme Guðmundsdóttir, CEO of Icelandic Startups, and Davíð Helgason, are part of the judging panel for the Nordic EdTech Awards.
